Celebrate our nation's birth the 1832 way! Play a game of town ball (the precursor to baseball), cool off with a water race, and listen to speeches, toasts, and petitions! Bring a blanket and a picnic lunch, or take out from your favorite restaurant, and enjoy the fun.

Please note that this event is the Sunday BEFORE the actual 4th of July holiday. The Apple River Fort will be closed on Monday, July 4th.
