From 6:00-8:00pm: Insect Collecting - Learn various techniques for collecting insects such as sweep netting, tree beating, and pit-fall trapping. Everyone can make seed bombs to plant at home.
From 8:00-11:30pm: Mothing Party - Over 11,000 species of moths are native to North America. Join insect enthusiasts and experts to watch thousands of moths gather on drop sheets and sugar baits. Insect enthusiasts, Ethan Brown, Jim Louderman, and Barbara Williams will show us how you can invite moths to your own mothing party at home.
